Welcome to PiggyBank! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PiggyBank website (www.usepiggybank.com), mobile application, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by PiggyBank Inc. (“PiggyBank,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. tax resident to use PiggyBank. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

2. How PiggyBank Works

PiggyBank allows users to gift stock by funding a prepaid gift that can be redeemed by the recipient toward the purchase of a security. PiggyBank does not transfer ownership of stock between users. Recipients may redeem the gift value for the suggested stock or another eligible security after opening a brokerage account through our partner, Alpaca Securities LLC. No stock is purchased until the recipient redeems the gift.

3. Account Registration

To send or redeem a gift, you may need to create a PiggyBank account and provide accurate, complete information. Recipients must also open a brokerage account with Alpaca to execute a stock trade. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Gifting & Redemption

Gifts are sent via email or phone number and are redeemable for up to 24 months. If a gift is not redeemed, the sender may request a refund, or PiggyBank may follow applicable unclaimed property laws. Recipients must complete onboarding with our broker-dealer partner to redeem the gift and execute a trade. Gifts are not transferable and have no cash value until redemption.

5. Investment Risks

Investing in securities involves risk. The value of investments may fluctuate and result in loss of principal. PiggyBank does not provide investment advice and nothing on our platform should be construed as a recommendation.

6. Brokerage & Compliance

All brokerage services are provided by Alpaca Securities LLC, a member of FINRA/SIPC. PiggyBank is not a broker-dealer and does not provide investment, brokerage, or custodial services. PiggyBank acts solely as a technology and marketing platform facilitating the gifting experience.

7. Fees

PiggyBank may charge service, transaction, or redemption-related fees. All fees will be clearly disclosed before you complete a transaction.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation;

• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others;

• Attempt to disrupt, interfere with, or compromise the integrity or security of the platform.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the platform or its users.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on PiggyBank—including trademarks, software, designs, and branding—is the intellectual property of PiggyBank and may not be copied, used, or distributed without permission.

11. Third-Party Services

PiggyBank uses services from third parties such as Plaid and Alpaca. You may be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies, and PiggyBank is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.

12. Limitation of Liability

PiggyBank is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including delays in redemption or execution.

13. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
